I've still never learned how to knit properly and I always felt a little inept until I saw this great clip from Cary Grant's Mister Lucky "you take the one gimmick and you stick it in here like this, an then you take the string and put it between the two gimmicks and you take it and you just purl off .. that's all there is to it!"
